Meet Heinz, Leona, and Bonny.   

These Murray Grey cattle live on open pastures and fresh air at My Mother's Garden.  The breed was developed in Australia and is a cross between Angus and Shorthorn.  Murray Greys are good browsers and finish well on grass.  Although not certified organic, they are naturally and humanely raised without hormones, antibiotics or commercial feed.  We expect to have a grass-fed steer available in the spring of 2009.  Email us for details.
